Presidents
Chitra Rao is proudly serving the OKA community for the third time and is serving as President for the second time. She works at Sunnybrook Hospital and is a proud mother of two and grandmother of three. Chitra enjoys traveling and exploring the world, connecting with people, taking summer trail walks, and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She is deeply committed to serving and supporting the community.

Ravi and Shilpa are people who truly enjoy connecting with others and building meaningful friendships. If there’s delicious food or a community event happening, chances are you’ll find them there! They’re excited to be part of the Konkani committee and look forward to creating memorable moments with the everyone.
Minakshi Pai

Minakshi has been a member of the OKA community since 2005 and is grateful for the role it has played in bringing her closer to her Konkani roots. Over the years, four generations of her family have formed lifelong friendships through this close-knit community, and she looks forward to seeing many more generations do the same. She looks forward to giving back to the OKA community for many years to come.
Ananya Pai
Youth Coordinator
Ananya is a Grade 12 student and OKA’s Youth Manager and Social Media Strategist. Her goal is to engage more youth, grow OKA’s social media presence, and strengthen our community. Outside of OKA, she loves Bharatanatyam and spending time with her dog.
